Who we are.
ArthIQ Labs is a small software studio based in Lake Zurich, Illinois.
We build infrastructure and libraries for the agentic AI era. Vedākṣha — the Vedic ephemeris and computation engine — is our primary open-source project. It is written clean-room in Rust, with every astronomical algorithm cited to a primary published source and every Vedic rule traced back to BPHS or a recognized classical text.
The engine is licensed under BSL 1.1 today. Each release converts to Apache 2.0 five years from its release date — per-version, not a single future date.
ArthIQ Labs LLC is the legal entity. Commercial license inquiries, integration questions, and bug reports all go to the same address.
