Non-commercial
Free, forever.
Free under BUSL-1.1 if you are not earning revenue from external customers. No registration, no key, just install and use.
Install via cargo add vedaksha or pip install vedaksha, or grab the WebAssembly bundle. Same crates, same code, same accuracy as the commercial license.
Commercial
$500 one-time per organization.
For any product or service that earns revenue from external customers. One purchase covers the entire organization, unlimited products, unlimited seats, and every version we release after it.

Open source path
Becomes Apache 2.0.
BUSL-1.1 is not a permanent restriction. Each version converts to the Apache License, Version 2.0 four years from its individual release date.
Per-version conversion. v9.1.0 was released 2026-08-31 and automatically becomes Apache 2.0 on 2030-08-31. Later versions have their own change dates. The conversion is automatic, no further action required by ArthIQ Labs.
Per-version conversion is not per-version purchase. The change date is about when a given release becomes Apache 2.0. It has nothing to do with what your $500 covers: a commercial license covers the version you bought and every version released after it, so a new major never means a new invoice.
Why BUSL-1.1. The license model lets us fund ongoing engine work today while guaranteeing the source code ends up under a permissive open-source license on a defined timeline. The full text is at /legal/bsl.
