Privacy

PII-blind by design.

The Vedākha computation engine accepts only abstract mathematical inputs. It never receives a name, a birth-date string, or an address. The website itself collects only what is needed to deliver a commercial license.

Engine inputs

What the library accepts.

The Rust computation engine takes only two inputs. Both are abstract — they cannot be reversed into personal data.

julian_dayFloating-point count of days from an astronomical epoch. No calendar, no name, no time-zone.
latitude · longitudeDecimal coordinates. No place name, no city, no postal code.

Engine non-inputs

What it never sees.

Enforced at the Rust API boundary, not by policy. Callers convert personal data to Julian Day plus coordinates before invoking Vedākha.

  • Names or any personal identifiers
  • Birth dates or times as human-readable strings
  • Place names or addresses
  • Email addresses
  • IP addresses or device identifiers
  • Any data that could be linked to a natural person

Output classification

DataClassification field.

Every output node carries a classification tag. The value is set by the caller, not by the engine. Sourced from vedaksha-graph/classification.rs.

AnonymousComputed from coordinates only. No personal data.
PseudonymizedCaller has associated an opaque token. The engine cannot resolve it.
IdentifiedCaller has annotated the output with identifying information outside the engine.

Website data

What vedaksha.net collects.

The marketing site and licensing portal collect a narrow set of data, only as needed for the corresponding action.

Commercial license purchase.Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store card numbers, bank details, or any payment credentials. From Stripe we receive your email address (for license delivery) and transaction metadata (transaction ID, amount, date). Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment data they hold: stripe.com/privacy.

Contact email. If you write to info@arthiq.net, we keep the message and your address until the inquiry is resolved. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process request metadata (IP address, headers) in transit for network security and delivery, governed by their privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. We do not run additional analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts.

Your rights

GDPR · DPDP · CCPA.

Where applicable law gives you data-subject rights, write to info@arthiq.net. We respond within 30 days.

Computation engine. The engine processes no personal data, so access, erasure, and portability requests have nothing to act on at the engine layer. Those rights are exercised against whichever caller annotated the output as Identified.

License and contact data. For data we hold in connection with a commercial license or correspondence, you may request access, rectification, erasure, portability, or objection. We rely on contract performance for license delivery, legitimate interest for security logs, and consent for correspondence.

California (CCPA). We do not sell personal information. Categories of personal data collected are listed above.

Retention

How long we keep things.

License recordsDuration of the license + 7 years (US tax and accounting)
Contact emailsUntil inquiry resolved, then deleted within 12 months
Server access logsPer Vercel defaults; not retained by ArthIQ Labs

International transfers

US-based controller.

ArthIQ Labs LLC is established in the United States. License email and contact correspondence may be transferred to and processed in the US. Where required by applicable law, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Children

Not directed at minors.

The site and licensing portal are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, write to info@arthiq.net and we will delete it.

Updates

Changes to this policy.
